My ETSY shop
Well, I did it! I set up an etsy shop--curretnly nothing for sale, but if you want to pass the word on, the way to get there is www.brandijanecreations.etsy.com . The shop is named Brandi Jane Creations because that was somewhat original and my FIL's nickname for me since age 16! I really had a hard tiome thinking up something, so that's just goi9ng to be it. I have stuff to sew, so check the store for listings. The first items will be tote bags, aprons and possibly some baby items. I also take custom requests based on items that I sell in shop. (ex: you see a crochet needle case but want it in black and green instead of orange, just ask)
Let's see what happens!

Something New....
Here is an apron I designed and made for my niece who turned 3 a few days ago. I think it turned out quite lovely! It has velcro in the back instead of ties so it will be easier for a preschooler to deal with. She got a kitchen from Santa, by the way.
Been thinking of sewing and selling my wares online. Baby items, purses, table runners, tote bags, aprons, etc. I think I may be good enough to earn a small amount of cash, but really have zero desire to runa full fledged home business. Just want to enjoy my love of sewing by sharing it with people and finding a way to cover my expenses. So above is my new sewing machine and I love her!
I already ordered some preliminary fabric to make some items to post for sale. Then I will have to set up an etsy store and invest in some simple business cards and maybe start a separate blog for the sewing products. We'll see what happens!
